Building a World Where Everyone Belongs: Lessons in Inclusion and Diversity

Published on 13/10/2025

Every year on Students’ Day, we celebrate the spirit of learning and the limitless potential that young minds hold. It reminds me that true education is not only about books and exams but also about understanding people, respecting differences, and learning to see the world through empathy and equality.

Diversity is not a barrier; it is our collective strength. Gender, caste, class, and disability are simply different expressions of the human experience. Inclusion begins with small everyday choices: listening with patience, using respectful language, and standing up against bias.

True inclusion is not only about giving space to everyone; it is about valuing every individual for who they are. Diversity makes us different, but inclusion makes us strong.
