Learning and Dreaming with Sir Kalam

By Shejal Rathod

What does it truly mean to be a student? Is it just about attending classes, memorizing textbooks, and scoring marks? Or is it about curiosity, observing the world, experimenting, and applying what we learn in everyday life?

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam came from a humble background in Rameswaram, distributing newspapers to support his family while nurturing a burning curiosity for science and flight. Throughout his life as India’s Missile Man and President, he taught us that failure is simply the first step in learning.

“If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun.”

To all students reading this, let us stay curious, work hard, lift others along the way, and use our knowledge to build an inclusive society.
